Billy is the best plumber we've finally been able to find - and we've tried a few ! Billy was knowledgable even during first contact over the phone. We had multiple issues including the shower hot water not working and the cold taps upstairs not working but being ok downstairs. Billy methodically problem solved sharing his 30+ yrs experience along the way giving us confidence that proved well founded. Problem was fixed and at a very reasonable price. He also diagnosed some boiler issues we'd been having while he was here. We know who we're calling next time we need any kind of plumbing work done. ~ Mark I

I found Bill to be trustworthy, reliable and competant. He serviced my boiler and carried out repairs of the boiler promptly. I would have no hesitation in recommending him. Bill and Simon were a pleasure to work with. What seemed like a simple task to replace an existing washbasin and stand in the bathroom turned into a potential nightmare owing to nonstandard and unsuitable products and fittings supplied by the manufacturer. Bill had to use all of his experience and ingenuity to connect things successfully, and at a very reasonable price given that he had to make 2 visits on different days. Great service as usual. Found a leak on our water cylinder on Sunday night and Bill and Si were round the next day to have a look. Cylinder needed replacing and it was all sourced and completed by Wednesday afternoon. Price was reasonable and work was carried out to the usual high standard. Can also confirm that Comfy Heating & Plumbing is indeed a family business and having done business with them over the last 5 years there has never been a call centre in sight! ~ Chris C

I recently had a gas safety check carried out and was extremely impressed with the service. The engineers Bill and Simon arrived on time, were polite, and explained everything clearly. They carried out a thorough inspection of all appliances and ensured everything was safe and compliant. The whole process was efficient and gave me great peace of mind. Great service overall! I initially wanted a standard boiler service but luckily Billy detected a small leak I hadn’t noticed and probably wouldn’t have done for a while. He managed to get the leak (non urgent) sorted the following week. The work was explained and carried out efficiently plus the area was left tidy. Easy to book and the team arrived promptly at the agreed time. The work to cap off a gas hob and remove all associated piping was completed very efficiently and the necessary certification was provided shortly after. Bill and his colleague replaced a faulty kitchen tap for us. It turned out it wasn't a straightforward job as it seemed because of the design of the sink. I appreciated their hard work and excellent workmanship, getting it done quickly. They even made an effort to hoover the under sink before they left. We were delighted with how thoroughly, and quickly, Billy obtained a replacement part and fitted it in the boiler under his 12 months guarantee.
